The newsboy

An article about this picture in the Evening Chronicle of 27 January 1930, said:-

“For years this young newsboy stood against the hoardings which then occupied a site practically opposite the Central Station...
Seen almost invariably with a sack around his shoulders this young seller of ‘Chronicles’ became a familiar figure.”
